Northwest Airline Advantages Through the WorldPerks Visa Platinum Card

With the WorldPerks Visa Platinum Card, those with very good credit can enjoy free travel on Northwest Airlines or any of their partners. The program offered by this card is a great benefit to those who travel on Northwest often or are already enrolled in their travel programs. As you will see, membership does have its benefits.

With this program, you will get one mile for each dollar you spend with the card. The miles can then be used to get free or discounted flights through Northwest Airlines or any of their partners. Beyond the miles on purchases, though, you can earn more in other ways. You will get 55 miles each year by just paying the annual fee. Additionally, with participating restaurants, you can earn up to 5 miles per dollar.

There are limitations to the program, though. Miles do not expire, but if you spend more than $50,000 in a calendar year or $10,000 in one billing cycle, then your earnings are limited to one mile for every two dollars once you go over the limit. If, though, you are a member of Northwest’s WorldPerks program, other flying programs, or you choose to have your card bill paid in full each month, the limitations are waived.

With an annual fee of only $55 (well below many airline cards), a good APR, and flight perks you just can’t beat, the WorldPerks Platinum Card is the perfect card for the busy traveler. So if your credit is very good, you are a frequent flyer of Northwest, and you are looking for a credit card, this just might be your best bet.
